The PADI Discover Scuba Diving program gives you the opportunity to try diving and discover its excitement, adventure, freedom and serenity. In this program, you have the opportunity to use scuba equipment and get accustomed to the surroundings and explore the underwater world in the ocean. The skills and techniques you have learned will count toward the PADI Scuba Diver and Open Water Diver certifications.

In the morning meet at your Hotel Lobby and proceed to Sutera Harbour jetty for a short boat ride to one of the islands of Tunku Abdul Rahman Park. Initially, you will be given instructions with a PADI diver on how to use your equipment and the techniques required. You will be gently introduced into how to use the scuba diving gear underwater. You will take one supervised dive before returning to Kota Kinabalu.
