Day 01 ARRIVAL KOTA KINABALU - CITY TOUR On arrival transfer to your hotel. Afternoon proceed for an introductory tour of Kota Kinabalu, the State Capital of Sabah - The Land Below The Wind. Proceed to Sabah Foundation Building - one of the hanging structures in the world. Stopover at the Buddhist Temple. Visit the Sabah State Museum, which displays artifacts from Sabah's past and diverse cultures prevalent in North Borneo. Pass by the State Mosque - this resplendent structure, with its majestic domes and gold motifs, is a spectacular sight. Drive to Tanjung Aru to see the imposing sights of the long sandy beach. Return to your hotel. Overnight: Hyatt Regency hotel 5*.

Day 02 GAYA ISLAND NATURE WALK & SNORKELING MAMUTIK (B,L) You will be picked up from your hotel in Kota Kinabalu in the morning. Board boat for about 10-15minutes to Gaya Island, the largest of the five islands of Tunku Abdul Rahman Park. Gaya Island is known to have some of the best lowland forest around the City. Upon arrival, trek for about 1.5hrs through coastal vegetation, mangrove swamp and lowland dipterocap forest. Our guide will explain to you about the flora and fauna of this tropical island. After your trek through this primary forest, pick up by boat and transfer to nearby Mamutik Island, the smallest among the five islands and well-known for snorkelling for its colourful marine life. Spend the day for your own leisure: Swimming, Snorkelling and just laze yourself or suntan at the white sandy beach. For your lunch, a sumptuous BBQ will be served for you to enjoy on the island. After lunch, continue your free leisure. Transfer to your hotel in the late afternoon. Overnight: Hyatt Regency hotel 5*.

Day 03 FLY TO SANDAKAN – SEPILOK ORANGUTAN – SAFARI ABAI (B,L,D)) Pick up from hotels (Sabah Hotel or Sandakan Hotel) within Sandakan at 0800/0815 hrs or Sandakan Airport to Sepilok Orangutan Rehabilitation Centre. At this world renowned center, come face to face with human’s closest relative, the Orangutans. The Orangutans feeding time is at 1000 hrs. Also experience a walk in the tropical lowland dipterocarp forest. At 1100hrs, depart Sepilok and proceed to Abai by boat. Late afternoon, we will bring you to a river cruise, in search of more wildlife. Dinner and night cruise to witness the nature of fireflies. Overnight: Abai Jungle Lodge.

Day 04 PITAS OXBOW LAKE - SANDAKAN - NEXT DESTINATION (B,L) Early morning, river cruise to Pitas oxbow lake to observe wildlife. After breakfast join tree planting project with locals and lunch at Abai Village. After lunch, take another one hour boat cruise back to Sandakan. Upon arrival at jetty, drive up hill to the Puh Jih Syh Chinese Buddhist Temple, which offers a panoramic view of the Sandakan Bay before lunch at local restaurant or hotel. After lunch, proceed to airport for your flight back to Kota Kinabalu.
