Day 01 Kuala Lumpur
Arrive in Malaysia's capital city, where you will be met by our tour guide and transfer to the hotel for a three nights stay. 

Day 02 Kuala Lumpur (Breakfast, Lunch)
You have a free day today to explore the vibrant and modern city of Kuala Lumpur. Overnight.

Day 03 Malacca (Breakfast, Lunch)
After breakfast, pick up from hotel lobby for a full day Malacca tour. Malacca is Malaysia's historical state. Many local battles were fought against our colonial masters here. When they left, they left behind a trove of what is to become historical buildings and landmarks synonymous to Malacca today. Visit St. Peter's Church (1710) - the oldest Christian Church, believed to be the burial  place of St. Francis Xavier, a priest who played a vital role in the history of Malacca and won the hearts of the local villagers.

Drive past the Bukit China or Chinese Hill -  the largest cemetery outside of China. Stopo at the foothill to view Sultan's Well before driving through the Portuguese Settlement. Visit the famous gateway, 'Porta De Santiago' and the ruins of St. Paul's Church lined with the 17th century Dutch tombstones. Next on the list is 'Red Square' - the salmon pink Dutch administrative buildings which today houses the Malacca Museum and government offices.

Visit Christ Church before proceeding for lunch, we visit the 'Abode Merciful Clouds' or the Cheng Hoon Teng Temple - the only temple where you can find 3 major doctrines of local Chinese beliefs of Taoism, Buddhism and Confuciansim. Take a stroll along Jonker Street, which houses rows of antique shops. Return to your hotel.

Day 04 Taman Negara - National Park (Breakfast, Dinner)
You will be met in your hotel lobby in the city centre between 0800 hrs to 0830 hrs to be transfered to the shuttle coach departing point to embark on a 4 hours journey to Kuala Tembeling Jetty, please proceed to register yourself with the National Park and Wildlife Department. At 1330 hrs (Friday 1430 hrs) board a motorised longboat for 3 hours to Kuala Tahan, the headquarters of Taman Negara. Enroute you will be passing by local villages and lush tropical rainforest. Birds, monkeys, monitor lizards or water buffaloes may be seen along the river.

Expected arrival at Kuala Tahan at 1700 hrs. Check in at the reception of Taman Negara Resorts, at leisure to soak in the jungle atmosphere at the Resort. At 2030 hrs meet your guide at the Resort's Reception who will give you a brief orientation introduction. Your first adventure will be a night jungle walk in the 130 million years old tropical rainforest. We will be on a look-out for nocturnal insects amidst the chorus of the rainforest. Do note however, sighting wildlife in the tropical forest due to its density, is a bonus. Overnight in air-conditioned chalet.

Day 05 Taman Negara - National Park (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
0930 hrs - Meet  the guide and start with a jungle walk up Teresik Hill. This walk takes us further into the national park. The guide will highlight to you the rich flora found en route. At the top of Teresik Hill, enjoy a panoramic view of the tropical rainforest and on a clear day, see Mount Tahan, the highest mountain in Penisular Malaysia.

Before returning to the base, we will go on a canopy walkway, built 40 metres above the ground and 450 metres in length. You will experience the rainforest from a different perspective, as you will be closer to the top of the trees! This afternoon, we will take a motorised boat to the cataracts of Lata Berkoh. There is a deep pool delightful for swimming, resting or reading on the rocky area overlooking the river. On the way, we'll stop over at Lubuk Tenor Fish Sanctuary where a fascinating fish feeding experience awaits. Lubok Tenor, blessed with clear water (unless there is recent heavy rain) and many fish is the result of successful eco tourism project involving local villagers and the Government to create fish sanctuaries. Return to Resort. Overnight.

Day 06 Taman Negara / Kuala Lumpur (Breakfast)
The boat for Kuala Tembeling departs at 0900 hrs. This journey will take about 2 to 3 hours, depending on water level of the river. The transfer to Kuala Lumpur will depart by 1200 hoursm expected arrival time at your hotel in Kuala Lumpur city centre is between 1530 hrs to 1600 hrs. Return to your hotel for overnight.

Day 07 Kuala Lumpur / Sandakan (Breakfast)
Morning, transfer to Kuala Lumpur airport and depart by flight to Sandakan via Kota Kinabalu. On arrival, transfer to the Sepilok Nature Resort for overnight. 

Day 08 SepilokOrang Utan / Kinabatangan River (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
After breakfast, proceed to Sepilok Orang Utan Rehabilitation Center to see the morning feeding time of the reserve's orang utan, which are being gradually re-introduced into the wild. Continue to Sandakan Jetty for one hour boat cruise up to Lower Kinabatangan River Sanctuary.

This is a wonderful journey of discovery which starts from the waters of Sulu Sea of Sandakan Town through a magnificient scenery of the Mangrove Forest. After lunch, cruise up river to Sukau Village in search of primates especially the Endemic Proboscis Monkeys, birds, and other wildlife. Late afternoon, another river cruise with electric motor to Menanggul River, a small tributary of Kinabatangan. Return lodge for dinner and overnight at Kinabatangan Riverside Lodge.

Day 09 Kinabatangan River (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
Wake up by the calls of Gibbon and hornbills. Early morning, take a river trip to the Ox-Bow Lake to observe wildlife and experience the early morning ambience of Sabah's longest river. Return lodge for breakfast then free at own leisure. After lunch, late afternoon, another river cruise to search for more wildlife. Dinner and overnight at Kinabatangan Riverside Lodge.

Day 10 Sandakan / Onward (Breakfast, Lunch)
After breakfast, river cruise down by boat back to Sandakan. Another chance for wildlife sightings with this approximately 2.5 hours journey. Upon arrival at jetty, drive up hill to the Puh Jih Syh Chinese Buddhist Temple, which offers a panoramic view of Sandakan Bay. After lunch, fly back with Malaysia Airlines MH 2709 14:15hrs to Kota Kinabalu and connect to your flight back home or next destination.
